This bilingual webinar series will invite participants to explore instructional planning for the bilingual classroom from an asset-based, equity-informed perspective, recognizing that emergent bi/multilinguals bring many contributions to the school community.
The ACCESS for ELLs Score Reports provide specific information on students’ academic English language proficiency. During this training, participants will explore how the WIDA Standards and Assessment System is connected to the ACCESS for ELLs score reports. Participants will examine the different types and uses of score reports. They will also make connections between the students’ proficiency scores and WIDA Performance Definitions.
This bilingual webinar uses an interactive approach to introduce the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of the WIDA Spanish Language Development Framework. Participants will reflect on current practice to determine ways to apply the WIDA Standards and related tools, such as Las definiciones de desempeño, to inform instruction and assessment.

This WIDA MODEL training webinar series is for educators who are preparing to administer the WIDA MODEL Online assessment for grades 1-12. WIDA MODEL can be used as an identification/placement assessment for newly enrolled ELLs or as an interim progress monitoring assessment. During this training, participants will learn how to administer and score each of the four domain assessments as well as how to navigate and perform key functions in the MODEL Online Test Administrator Interface.
