Differentiation for Linguistically Diverse Students
English language learners need instruction that is differentiated to meet the needs unique to learning an additional language and grade appropriate content. Participants will approach the idea of differentiation of language from an asset-based perspective, recognizing that language learners bring many contributions to the school community. The Differentiation workshop is offered in three formats: webinar, 1-day and 2-day.

Educator Collaboration
Educator collaboration provides an overview of collaborative methods and structures for instruction and assessment. Utilizing WIDA tools, participants will explore and discuss language development meaning making through language use, the Four C’s of Collaboration, and collaborative structures that support shared responsibility of multilingual learners.

Follow-up Reflection and Action Planning Webinar
This webinar allows participants to reflect on their learning from any WIDA foundational workshops to consider how they have implemented key ideas from that workshop into their current teaching and learning contexts. Participants will consider the strengths and areas of need for their local teaching and learning context and then use that information to develop an action plan and corresponding professional learning goals. The overall goal is for educators to leverage WIDA tools and resources in the development of their action plans, and reflect on best practices that will, in turn, provide equitable instruction for culturally and linguistically diverse students.
Interpreting ACCESS for ELLs Score Reports for Instruction
The ACCESS for ELLs Score Reports provide specific information on students’ academic English language proficiency. During this training, participants will explore how the WIDA Standards and Assessment System is connected to the ACCESS for ELLs score reports. Participants will examine the different types and uses of score reports. They will also make connections between the students’ proficiency scores and WIDA Performance Definitions.

WIDA MODEL Online Test Administration Webinar Series
This WIDA MODEL training webinar series is for educators who are preparing to administer the WIDA MODEL Online assessment for grades 1-12. WIDA MODEL can be used as an identification/placement assessment for newly enrolled ELLs or as an interim progress monitoring assessment. During this training, participants will learn how to administer and score each of the four domain assessments as well as how to navigate and perform key functions in the MODEL Online Test Administrator Interface.
